Crazy Weekend~~

Well, it has been a crazy weekend...
i went to East Coast Park that day.. my dear brought me near to the pond there to rest & stroll..
guess what we spotted! or rather, what we attracted! hehe..

the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles~ (TMNT)
haha.. we laughed ourselves silly making up stories that they are looking for their Master Splinter! hehe...

then we went for drinks at coffeebean and saw a couple taking their wedding shots inside coffeebean! so cool lah!

next time can consider doing that for my own wedding photos! hehe.. =)


Saturday was my gf, Jenny Wawa's Birthday! we've been such chummies since our poly days! went out for shopping-bdae celebration!

then the sleepiness sunk in...

anyway.. boring day at work as usual..

then after work met up with my dear & vincent for movie..

watch stupid babylon movie.. stupid story.. i think it survived cos of vin diesel & the pretty audora.. (dunno what is her real name) she so pretty lah..

but the movie was so-so.. i rather watch Money No Enough 2 twice..

went for coffeebean drink after the movie.. (i smart le.. i din drink.. i see them drink)

Happening Weekend~~

Well, let me start off for friday..
it was a boring & irritating friday...
so my colleagues & I went for Pizza Hut Lunch Express to make ourselves happy!
hehe..
$10 nett person cos my colleagues got HSBC card..
eat until super full loh..
but..

then.. on saturday..i met up with my dear dear... while he was sleeping.. i was looking through his calendar~~ then i saw a very interesting event!

MARRIAGE DAY.. hehe..

we had previously discussed this date before..
but we din put it to action..
but! i got my parents permission already hor! hehe.. =)
till the day comes!

then.. sunday.. went to bugis junction~~
saw the F1 car..
so me being me..
i ask my brother to help me take photo of me 'driving' it~ hehe
felt as though like sitting on floor loh..
but it was fun!


then.. one of the FHM girls.. approached my brothers to join a donut eating contest.. me being the evil sister, agreed on their behalf.. they are donut lovers anyway..
so the contest starts~

nick (in light green+white specs) was taking his own sweet time enjoying the donuts.. while james (in dark green +crew cut hair) was golfing down the donuts... i don really like the flavours.. so .. lucky i din join..

i see them eat i already want to puke lah.. the way james gobbled down 1 entire donut in a mouthful.. until he choke & sneezed.. his mucus dripped! YEW~~~

well.. he won in the end! $50 dollars J.CO DONUTS voucher!
nick won a consolation prize of half a dozen donuts~

then again.. they are staying away from donuts for the next week..

so.. after that.. while i was having my dinner, my dear's class ended.. he called me that his wallet was pickpocketed while he was teaching swimming... wonder which slimeball did that to him... he will be cursed!!!

lucky that pickpocket only take money and left the cards & rest of 'non-money' items back into his bag.. surprisingly.. the pickpocket did not take his O2 phone.. ?!...

well.. he was feeling upset yet i couldn't meet him.. cos i was having dinner with my ma..
well... me being me once again..
i love him more than i love myself..
i begged my ma to let me go meet him..
my ma nagged & nagged..
she relented.. so i went over to meet my dear!

Emotional Sunday...

well.. it is a emotional sunday for me.. since i cannot go out today.. i got into the mood of clearing my cupboards of stuff...i found my rare collection of slam dunk pins.. together with my school pin as well..

thinking back those days.. in secondary school... the slam dunk craze was all around us.. and i was mad about Hanamichi Sakuragi (Ying Mu Hua Dao).. the cute redhead green horn basketballer who turns pro... well.. the entire story of slam dunk talks about how 'Ying Mu' grows into the team of "xiang bei" if i never rem the name wrongly.. anyway.. memories...
then my collection of trophies.... makes me think of my track 'n' field days.. where i really push myself to my limits till i had injured my achilles heel and had to go for therapy.. but they joy of training, the bonds we shared.. irreplaceable... memories... all rushing back..

looking through my old stuff, letters, cards, presents... really sends many many memories back..both happy than sad.. something triggered tears.. cards from nicole.. i got a card from her about 9 yrs ago.. the card was dated 1999... it was sorta our last contact .. as we were both doing our 'O's that year.. since then.. we did not keep much contact...

looking thru my stack of cards & letters brought me so much heart pain that i decided to throw them all away.. cards, letters from my primary to secondary friends.. it hurts so much to look through them now.. what has happened to all of us since...

one thing i will keep is the autographs book that we had through the years.. neo prints.. silly photos.. that should keep memories coming back.. not gushing my tears..

today is mid-autumn festival.. day where families gather together... yet i am feeling so miserable here... i wan to meet my dear but cannot... cos my ma don let any of us go out.. long story.. =(

anyway.. i was playing with candles till the image of my dear doing a heart shape candle for me..

there were 2 times he did it for me.. once was in bukit batok nature reserve park.. i din have a photograph of it.. but i rem very clearly cos he even used his fingers to made a heart out of the candle wax ... the 2nd occasion was the other time we went to east coast park and he also did a nice heart shape 'fire' for me, that i got the image... =)

having a headache now.. must be staring at the lighted candles earlier and breathing too much carbon dioxide from it...

i miss my dear so much...

well, one way or another, i got another mooncake! hehe..

friday, went for company training.. so proud of myself lah~
ran 5km! and i only stopped about 5min to rest.. a total of 35min for 5km! so proud!
at least i was skeptical when my colleague tell me the place was 1km per round, so after the run, to reconfirm my happiness, i circled ard the place, it was really 1km! hehe.. so happy lah!

after the run, feeling so adrenalin-pumped, i went to the fitness park (just within the circle we ran) and played on the monkey bars.. then i got blisters... =(

well, my dear dear met me for dinner after my run.. so i took some shots of him buying food~~hehe.. handsome right?

well, for the 1st time in my life, i received mooncake in the capacity of my work!
so happy!

it came from Ms Joy from Koelnmesse! so nice of her to send me mooncakes.
mooncakes from Fairmont (Swissotel), nice packaging! got mirror!
well, my colleague, Xiuhui recommended Raffles Hotel mooncakes so i bought them..
though abit pricey @ $40+ per box, i gave it a shot since it was like champange truffle & chocolate cognac (i think..) well.. it wasn't super fantastic.. okok lah..
not exactly my cup of tea.. (they were all snow skin)..

met up with my dear .. was early so i entertained myself at the pool... took photo graphs of him teaching lifesaving.. spot him if you can! hehe...

well, today is the contradicting day, anyway, cut the story short, i went for my brother's POP at tekong.. waited freaking 1 hr to start, travelled 2 hrs to get there, waited another 2 hours to get out of the island...
all 5 hours just to watch 1 hr of parade and to put on the cap for my brother!

all is worth it! =)

well, my bro said, they woke up at 3am.. marched 24km so tiring for them also,

my 3rd uncle has left..
my dear uncle who used to perform magic tricks to entertain us kids when we were young..
even though he limps on 1 leg (due to a fever accident when he was younger), he remained optimistic, forward-looking and set up a family of his own.

I'm not sure when he converted to christianity. but i believe he found his solace in it.
though my dad'd side of family is mostly buddhist, he must have taken great courage to convert and go with his beliefs.

still he is my nice uncle..
though i was never very very close to him, he is a familiar figure always..
sitting at the corner whenever we have family gathering, he is always there, smiling, with his wives, looking at us all grown up, helping with chores around..

he is my nice 3rd uncle..

he chose a quick departure, not giving us time to say our goodbyes.. i will not get a chance to see him one last time before his journey to god.. cos i have another important family event.

he was so hopeful that my mother could be the one to put on his cap for him.
he would be so proud if my mother went.

but my mother cannot go.
she has to represent the family to pay our last respects to my uncle..
my ma cannot go alone, she is not strong enough, so my sis has to go with her..

and i.. will just have to represent my mother to go for my brother's POP session.

Sunday Dinner~

I met up my dear for Dinner today since his class ended early. =)
well, he showed me what wonderful teacher's day present he had recieved from a student~ so sweet of the student lah! still got nice CAMEL polo tee & Mooncake from GRAND HYATT HOTEL! perks of being a teacher~

Well, hungry man is angry man, shalln't elaborate on details.
conclusion was we ended up having dinner at Lau Pat Sat.. suprisingly there was nice korean food there.. my dear ordered 'kim baep rice' or something like tat.. cannot really rem the name.. but it was nice~
we also ordered satay and prawns and durian milk ice for dessert .. (not just 2 of us eat lah, with his ma & bro). nice nice~ next time can go there eat qiu lian ban mian~ haha...

well, my dear got me nail polish from korea~

well, since i am so hyped for running~ i bought a ASICS NUMBUS 8(if i'm not wrong) ..
since i wanna run this time, i better run it well.. without causing myself any more injuries...
that time after the NIKE run.. i used alot of muscle rub & salon pas loh..

must tone up my body..
must train at least once a week..
MUST! MUST! MUST!

Well, today bought a simple new Sports bra.. so that should keep me motivated~ haha..

Morning Run @ Singapore Botanic Gardens

Well, since my NIKE run, quite addicted to running.. the adrenaline is shiok~
only difficult part of it is to get up early and run!
haha.. well, since i am involved in the team event for the Standard Chartered Run, we got training started.

i was so evil till i checked the weather forecast hoping it will rain so i can sleep in a bit more.. (i prefer evening runs) .. well.. wat the heck.. it did rain.. it stopped at 6am..
so i dragged my butt out of my house and made the way there to Singapore Botanic Gardens as the gathering time was 8am.. (*yawns*)

Still, although it is 3km run, i was really running out of breath.. die.. getting old le.. haha
but i made 1 discovery to keep me motivated.. i lost 1 kg! haha... okok.. i know it is insignificant, but i lost 'some' weight!
haha..

well, on a friday where most people are going out on dates~ (my bf has a diff schedule from the usual 9 to 5s) I was on my way home.. i saw this car with many many spiderman! with my nokia 6120 built in camera.. i zoomed to this max and this is the best image i could capture!

cool right? maybe my future car can be full of stitch! haha.. power~
dunno what got over me either.. i am really on a picture shooting spree.. haha..

Well, I expected this arrow coming one way or another.. good & bad lah..
i already 50-50 about this..
50: feel like running cos abit addicted to the run last Sun
50: scared i cannot wake up!

All along i have been a sleepyhead.. usually morning appointments.. i can't wake up..
even last time when go training during my school days.. also evening de~ seldom morning.. (got school mah)

Since this time is going to be a company team event, might as well go and exercise, hopefully get some fat off my body.. another incentive to look forward to is the race pack goodie...

so proud of myself.. been a good 5 yrs since i run like mad~

haha.. 10km.. my goodness~ i never even expect myself to finish the race~

i just kept chanting "just keep going, go, go, go" to push myself through the 10KM run~~

now that i completed it... phew~

kinda tempted to find another 10KM run to join.. but really need to train for it.. otherwise.. will be aching again, just like what i am going through now..

the adrenaline rush of running~ SHIOK lah~
